About us
An alliance of churches committed to church planting in Spain.
The Alianza Bautista Reformada para la Implantación y Revitalización de Iglesias (Reformed Baptist Alliance for Church Planting and Revitalization) is a national network of Reformed Baptist churches that supports the planting and strengthening of biblical congregations in Spain.
What we do
Grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ and in the Word of God, we unite Spain’s Reformed Baptist churches in one shared mission.
Planting and revitalizing
We identify and promote new strategic church-planting projects and help revitalize churches that need fresh impetus, always with their consent.
Supporting together
After an assessment process, the member churches support planters together, responsibly and for a set period: financial support for workers and for essential needs, such as renting a meeting place.
Praying and connecting
We unite the churches in prayer and fellowship through our prayer letter and annual assembly. And through our network of contacts we connect planters, pastors and preachers with the places and churches that need them.
Vision and training
We promote vision, culture and training for church planting and revitalization, together with like-minded specialist ministries.
Our story
A network born in 2024
ABRIR was born in 2024 with an executive committee made up of representatives from six churches.
The churches of ABRIR stand by the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith and practise a congregational ecclesiology.
